Emerson Portrait
It is with great sadness that I share the news that Emerson Elliott has passed away.  Emerson was an amazing professional, writer and thinker, and a friend. He was a champion of CAEP’s ideal and a friend to many of our staff, Board members and providers.  When I first came to CAEP, Emerson was a tremendous support to me as we worked to bridge the tenets of NCATE and TEAC into CAEP.  He was an avid researcher and was masterful in how he bridged policy and research into cohesive thoughts and principles.  Emerson spent many hours  advising CAEP’s Board members and staff and he did so with eloquence, patience, and wit.  It was my honor to have known him and I will certainly miss him.
